You see, good work never goes unnoticed. I use it on my site and it works like a champ.... |

That's cool -- I had never seen that one before. I get this message, however, when using it with CA Treasury:
Quote: | There is an error in your SQL configuration. Check modules/Donations/config.php for the correct SQL settings |
I actually created a thread in the for hire forum to see if someone could help me get a nice thermometer added to the CA Treasury. I'm willing to pay well for it. |

If you would like, I can send you a copy of my modified nuke treasury that I use on my site. It has the thermometer. Mine does not use the same database names as the CA one does. That is probably where the issue with the block is you are having. I think CA Treasury uses the prefix before the db table.... |

Nuke, I dont know your version but this block is calling config.php which I think it is a dangerous module. I mean the old Nuke Treasure Module, if someone exploit or attack this module it will get all your information from the site. I think CA Treasure is better than the old Nuke Treasure Module. My question is. How can I use this Thermometer block with CA Treasury?
Should I take the config.inc.php from the old Nuke Treasure Module and upload to Donation module? I think it is an idea for sak if he still wants to use this block. |

The block uses the original databases. I think but not sure, that the CA Treasury uses different names for the database and also adds the prefix. The block would need to be changed to use the correct database names. You should be able to look at the block that came with CA Treasury and figure out how it needs to be changed.... |

Nuken, I spent some time trying to figure it out how to show thermometer on that block. I already did it and it was not so complicated but I had to do some changes. |

Did you get this working without having to use the old config file? eg. did you get it working with CA treasury completely? Could you share the files if so? |

Thank you very much, nuken. I got it all working. I took the code you provided and adapted it into the standard CA treasury block. You can view it at www.icarry.org
Seems to be working great, now I just need to send out a few emails and solicit some donations to make sure I'm going to start tweaking the graphics side of it and perhaps the text too to make it more graduated by dollar amount or something. I'm not sure but we'll see. Whatever I come up with I would be happy to make available for anyone who wants it.
If anyone wants what's up there right now (wasn't hard to create) I'd be happy to send you the block as well. |
