Hi all, I just had a member explain that my site theme looks odd? I explained could he please give me a screenshot etc.
I noticed from his screenshot that his theme was not the default theme?
The thing is when I look into the my account I can see an option anymore for a member to change theme, or an option for them to only use the default theme?
Is it possible for me to only allow the default theme?
Cheers

Yes , you can set that in RNYA's settings. However you will want to change all members themes to the default in the nuke_users tables ![Smile](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

I have also noticed the setting in edit users in the admin section which is already clicked on users use default them etc.
So I can only imagine that members that were using another theme othere than the default theme before the upgrade, seem to be stuck with that theme and are not seeing the present default theme etc
Cheers

mrix, you have actually raised a good point here that if the admin has elected to turn off the ability for the users to change their theme, that the default theme should always be used. I'll open an issue to be addressed in a future RN release.
However, since you have this set now within the Edit Users configuration, you just need to blank out all the user default themes. Within phpMyAdmin, you could execute the following SQL (modify to use your table prefix):
UPDATE nuke_users SET theme = '';
That will clear out all the user's own chosen themes. |

you can also delete every theme except the one you want used, if a user has a missing theme selected they'll be directed to the default. |

NeapolitanWorld, if you only want to have one theme active on your site, this is just personally what I would do:
1. Modify under ACP --> Edit Users --> Configuration --> Permissions --> Allow User Theme Selection set to "No".
2. Make sure under ACP --> Preferences you have the theme of your choice selected.
3. Use the SQL I posted above to wipe out any user's specific selection.
4. At this point you are "done", but you can also save on some disk space by removing all the other themes as was also suggested above.
I personally would rather not have every user's default be set to some theme value. If you leave it blank, then if you change themes down the road for your site, you only have to point to the new under Preferences and you are "done". ![Wink](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |
