This job is not for my site, but for that of an associate. The site is using RavenNuke 2.40.

The site uses 2 custom modules that are very old. Both modules use PHP code in a PHP-Nuke wrapper. One or both modules may also use other PHP script(s).

They are requesting quotes at this time, and separate quotes for each module.

Here's a brief description:

First module:

This is a custom paid membership module. Some notes from the original coder explaining what the module does are available at http://74.53.235.148/~vwgolfm/modules/Membership/moduleinfo.html

All of the functions appear to work. However, after use, it logs the user out of the site. The RavenNuke Administration panel still shows the user as logged in, however.

There is an administration area, which currently is accessed as a regular page in the module (not through the RavenNuke Admin panel). Only moderators can access this admin area.

The site owner would like two quotes for this module: The first quote would be what you would charge to fix the problem with the users being logged out. Also include in your quote any recommendations you may have. The second quote would be what you would charge to fix additional problems you find during your review, if any, and to bring this old code up to standards and/or turn it into a proper PHP-Nuke module with the administration access inside the RavenNuke Admin panel.

Second module:

This is a "registers" module, which basically is a sortable and searchable list allowing user input. You can view the module at http://74.53.235.148/~vwgolfm/modules.php?name=Registers

All functions appear to work, except one. In that one instance, it does not update the database table. With all other functions, the tables do appear to be updated. I am not 100% certain, but I believe administration functions may be managed by a separate PHP script which could be outdated.

The site owner would like two quotes for this module. The first quote would be what you would charge to fix the problem with the updating issue. Also include in your quote any recommendations you may have. The second quote would be what you would charge to fix additional problems you find during your review, if any, and bring this old code up to standards and/or turn it into a proper PHP-Nuke module with administration functions inside the RavenNuke Admin panel.

There are basically two reasons for asking for two quotes for each module. First is the time factor. They would like a quick fix so the modules can be in use on the site while any code is being updated. Also, the cost of service would most likely determine whether or not they would seek to fully update these modules.

Ideally, the same person would be hired to work on everything, but that is not mandatory. If you are only interested in working on one item, just submit a quote for that.

The site owner will not give access to the site. You would need to test the modules on your own site or at a test site where they are currently installed, and you can be given full access.

Include the following in your quotes:

1. Which module the quote is for (Paid Membership module 1 or Registers module 2) as described above,

2. A description of the work you would perform,

3. Your charges for the service ($USD) and any payment requirements (Note: You can only be paid via PayPal.),

4. Whether the price is firm or you are willing to negotiate,

5. Date you can begin the work

6. Time frame for completion of the job, and

7. Any other information you deem useful.

Email florenfiore@nukebids.com with your quotes or requests for additional information. Ask whatever questions you need in order to provide quotes.

Note that sending mail to the above address requires you to reply to a boxtrapper message before your email message will be received.

If there is anything I missed here, please bring it to my attention.

Thanks.

Please advise what the modules are for or what they are named.

I think they were hoping to only provide that info to people who emailed them, but I'm sure it will save people from wasting their time, so I will ask him for it or get him to post it here shortly.

I edited the original post to include the following information:

First module:

This is a custom paid membership module. Some notes from the original coder explaining what the module does are available at http://74.53.235.148/~vwgolfm/modules/Membership/moduleinfo.html

Second module:

This is a "registers" module, which basically is a sortable and searchable list allowing user input. You can view the module at http://74.53.235.148/~vwgolfm/modules.php?name=Registers

Bump

Anyone want to assist with these, this is my site that I run for other people and I would like to at the very least get the Second Module working as it did before.

So all is required is to get the database for the second module to update when a user adds or amends there particular data

To me the membership module is working bar the issues above and also it adds the users to a forum group rather then the NSN group. It would make a nice add on for ravennuke if someone could get it working

I know this would be a big job for someone, but the site are willing to pay to turn this module (membership one) into a fully working module within the admin area of the site.

At the moment the membership module only part works and a lot of things still have to be done manually and recorded else where to keep track of members.

If this was turned into a proper membership module it would be a very good module to have for ravenuke

Is there anyone interested in doing this at all
