Okay guys,

I am not php savvy at all. You know, you've heard all this before and I dont want to beat a dead horse but is there anyway to get my avatars to work correctly? Anyone? It's the only problem left remaining on my site (as far as I know).

I have tried some of the fixes posted on various sites but nothing seems to work 100%.

The gallery shows up only if my settings in Forum ACP are set as modules/Forums/images/avatars/gallery If I leave at default settings the Gallery option doesnt even show. Forget all this.......... I dont even know how to explain it. Whats working or whats not...I am completley bald now from trying

Willing to pay/donate for an expert to get this going for me.

I dont want remote host upload. Only Gallery and upload from users PC's

Please help me. Site: Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login!

Please try to explain exactly what the problem is, use images if necessary. At the moment I have no idea what the problem is.

this is what i have.

Avatar Storage Path = modules/Forums/images/avatars
Avatar Gallery Path = modules/Forums/images/avatars

just to make sure is "Enable gallery avatars" set to yes? and is the /modules/Forums/images and /modules/Forums/images/gallery chmoded to 755?

if those are set like above that will rule those 2 things out. and thats the only thing i can think of atm.

Adrenalizer3, make me an admin account and send me FTP information. If you want to email it to me instead of private messagingit send me a private message and ask for my email.

Thanks kd8hho,

I went back into Forum ACP and changed to your settings, I then FTP'd and made sure everything was set back to original and chmoded to 755 (after all my trial and errors. I swear I read somewhere 777 for avatars to successfully upload) and then started over again with that. After trying different ways of updating, deleting, and re-uploading my avatars I finally had success and have explained to my members how to do it as well. Whats wierd is in the past I never had to change to default /images/avatars or images/avatars/gallery before. I guess that started my curve ball.
I ended up with modules/Forums/images/avatars and modules/Forum/images/avatars/gallery for my settings. Everything seems to be as it should and working fine now. Cheers and thanks for the help guys. RN has restored my faith.
