Hi! Everyone.

Yesterday I made some tests with all version from Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8 and the last besta 9 and my forum get stuck again. When I write to the forum my scroll bar is going up like crazy and it doesnt make me type correctly but when I use the last version from FF mozilla I am not able to reproduce this problem.

IE 6 7 8= DENGEROUS=TROUBLEMAKER= 4/10 POINTS

FF Mozilla 3.6=Amazing, Faster, Smooth, The Best= 9/10 Points

I gave Mozilla FF 9 points because of the slowing time it loads the pics from website.

What do you think abou this problem I am still getting every time I am running IE to type on the forum?

I tested the IE 9 last version and it is happening the same as other versions. Sad

Have you upgraded to the latest version of RN? This problem has been resolved.

Comparing IE 6 and 7 to the latest version of FF is like comparing apples to oranges. It is an unfair comparison. I use IE 8 and FF and have no major problems with IE 8. I'm not saying IE is better than FF, but I don't see how you can call it "DENGEROUS=TROUBLEMAKER"

FF did drop a notch in my book with the MAJOR caching problem with what I think was the 3.6.2 release.

Have you tried various themes?

FF should have some excellent pluggins available to help you debug any errors. Or even one of the online tools enter site and see what it kicks up for errors. Most are fairly benign but it sounds like something is interfering with your site. So it might help ya out to see them all.

Good start:

I think this was discussed somewhere else on this site. The problem has something to do with the way that IE8 handles text area's with a height or width attribute or when one attribute is specified but the other one isn't. Unfortunately I don't use IE so I have never experienced this first hand. I think a workaround solution was posted but I've never used it myself - tired of recoding stuff just to cater to the whims of MS/IE.

I did new installation Palbin and the problem persist. When I talk about dangerous means I had to repair many computers which has problem with IExplorer.

Synthoms: IExplorer is redirecting to advertisement sites, IE crasheded because of one dengerous plugin, one fake media player plugin.

Actually, people are always creating Virus, Troyans to break Operating Windows System in one way or another one. That will be always an issue. Believe me. I can proof that Palbin if you want.

Guardian knows what I am talking about, otherwise I dont write down about it. I dont wanna be pain in the ass but I like to share things bad or good ones.

If the problem still persists it is probably because you are using a theme that is not standard with RN. Go to the link I posted above and/or compare your theme to on in the RN package for the necessary changes.

FF is just as vulnerable as any other browser if the "user" installs malicious or corrupt plugins.

http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/postp146313

I was running a theme from Nuken, I guess he also need to update the posting_body.tpl file from all his themes.

This file solved all my problems. I am so happy to fix it. it was really irritant.
