I am sure I am not the only anxious one for 2.0, and I saw on the NSN site that "if all goes well", it could be released by July 4th. I know things get delayed for one reason or another (you all have lives beyond programming as we all understand).....but I hope it's not delayed due to "issues" with the script. Hopefully it's just the weekend holiday delay or similar.....and as with any software release, I know the typical answer of "it's done when it's done"....so I am not trying to ask for a release date.....just wondering the cause of the delay more than anything.

Thanks for your time and efforts for the best security script out there for phpnuke!

The holiday weekend definitely put a cramp in it (at least for me), but mainly it's me Smack. I haven't completed an admin function due to other matters that I have been attending to. Once again - MEA CULPA Bang Head I will be endeavoring to get this to Bob ASAP.

I am sure my recent forum "discussion" didn't help matters any....however, it's good to know the issue isn't "technical" in nature. Thank you very much for the update Raven!

Raven,

Do you need any IIS Server testers for Sentinel 2.0? If so let me know, I'd be glad to help out.

To my knowledge we do not have a tester using IIS servers. I use a Mandrake Linux server for my local testing as I hate MS servers Smile

Yes the holiday was a bit of a slow down Smile I have been updating a few of my scripts while Raven has been working on his code additions to Sentinel. Now that I have the new coding we are pouring over Sentinel 2.0.0 with Raven's new addition to test and a couple of late requests to get in, the late requests are more cosmetic then functional but are fine additions.

I personally hope to get it proven out within a week to two. Here again this is provided all goes well and we don't run into major interactions with native nuke code. Please bear with uis so we can provide you with the quality script that you have come to expect from Raven, ChatServ, Six, and myself.

Also bear in mind that 2.0.0 has basicly been recoded with many new functions/features for admin control over it and how it reacts to each blocker type so testing is of the highest priority right now.

I have more of a love / hate relationship with IIS. It paid the bills for a long time so it's kinda hard to shake. Didn't have any real issues with the current build of Sentinel on IIS 5.0, so I suspect the same will hold true for 2.0.
