I've been searching the forums for an answer without any luck.

How can I hav a google search filed to search both my site and www? Like this one in here.

I downloaded a module named GoogleIt. But when I use it the Google says that it is unauthorized used!

Is there any way to have a google search in my site?

Best Regards.

Confused: do you wish to have your pages listed in Google's search results or do you want to be able to use Google to search your site as Raven does here?

Run a forum seach for SEO (search engine optimisation)
and another for GT (google tap)

The fastest way to get listed on google is link exchanges with 3 or 4 sites on the 2st page, of a similar subject matter to yours....

I believe to use the Google search box, you must have a Google AdSense account. You actually get paid for any ads clicked from people using your search through Google

Thanks all of you!

evaders99, I think you are right in this. I have had an account before but left it for some reason. I will contact Google again for renewing it.

You aren't required to have an Adsense account...

...but you might as well get paid, yes? Wink

I have Google's free code saved as an html file. Now how do I get it on my site? Do I need to convert the code to a module? I want the search to be in my home page and my forums page.

Also, the google free code produces a "Google Search" button. I want to use just a plain "Search" button (like on this site).

You can convert to a module like so
http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/nukemanual-include-html-file-in-module.html

Or a block like
http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/nukemanual-how-to-include-files.html

And you can add the code into your theme or forums template files .. it sorta depends on where exactly you want it placed
