Hi Im really hoping someone can help me.
Up to recently I have been using PNC 4.5 which is no longer supported and hasnt been for some time.
So I have finally decided to convert to raven (latest edition)
Ive managed to transfer most of the "gumph" over like users etc yet Im having no luck with the forums.
I keep getting..

It looks to me like you may be using the viewtopic.php program from the PNC4.5 rather than the one from the Ravennuke distribution. You need to have both the tables and the programs from the Ravennuke distribution. If your forums tables from the PNC 4.5 distribution have different fields than the ones in the Ravennuke distribution do you are going to need to figure out how to convert them to the appropriate format, probably dropping fields such as f.auth_download. Of course, you will have a reliable backup before you start mucking with this stuff.
In the Ravennuke distribution, in the utilityfiles section there is a table comparison utility you can run. That might give you a good idea about what table discrepancies exist. Instructions are in the file(s). You might also want to read the RNWIKI section about installation and upgrading very carefully before you get going. |
