I need help installing cometchat

Just a mention, I cured my hosts issues after tweaking the settings in the config.php file, like killing-hours advised I changed the time limit it calls and refreshes the whos online from the standard 60 seconds.

I also was advised by CometChat, (as I was on here aswell) to run that cron file every 3 hours which I do, and I have had no server problems at all.

This is actually a very good chat script.

Think this came from page 2 or 3 of this thread. I might have to find common solutions and edit the tutorial with the suggestions.

Glad everyone has got it working... it really is a nice chat script when it is setup and going. I use it daily as the message transport for using Afterlogic's mail client. So basically I have a nice front end to my own private email address with a nice private chatbar.

i added it as a download so all u have to do is add ur user pass and db to it its already patched and ready to go and u had to make a account to view links here but yeah its there if any of you want it i got it working for phpfox also and vbbul and dragon fly but the only download i have up if for php nuke plat and raven nuke the other builds can figure it out
