TegoNuke Mailer Config

Hello,

When I try to activate TegoNuke Mailer I get the following messages:

Firefox - The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.

Opera: Moved Permanently
The document has moved Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login!

IE: Just hangs and never completes.

Any suggestions?

Sounds to me like an errant rewrite rule in .htaccess. I would check the URL's being used against your rewrite rules to see which ones are tripping this up. My guess would be its a rule you have added as it shouldn't be one of the ShortLinks ones.

EDIT: If you are like me, you could have a whole list of rewrite rules to bad referrers. So, I would focus on finding rewrite rules which may start with something like this:

RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER}

There is probably a regex after this with letter combinations which match up with the TN Mailer referrer link.

No incidence of "regex". I do have a lot of rewritecond entries, but they are ones I got from posts here.

I removed all the Http_referrer entries and was able to config TegoNuke Mailer.

I then replaced them and began to remove them one by one to see which one was causing the problem.

Here is the culprit (or at least when I removed it, it worked):

RewriteRule ^(.*) %{HTTP_REFERER} [R=301,L]

No, I think it is one of the rules above it that is triggering the rewrite. Would you mind posting all the lines above this one here so I can take a look? Or, if you prefer, you may PM me as much of your .htaccess rules as you like and I'd be glad to look at them. I will compare with the URL's I am using.

Clear cookies in Firefox, should fix it. Sounds like a corrupted cookie.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Tried all that, still didn't work.

Doulos, try commenting out this line in your .htaccess file:

Montego, it works if I comment out either one of the two lines below:

You do not want to comment out that last line as it is what ALL the RewriteCond lines above it fall into! Smile

You just want to remove the RewriteCond noted, otherwise, all the other RewriteCond statements are worthless.
