Is there a way to change the author? I know in the gcalandar you have a box to change the author but not on content plus.
I only ask because there are times I try to help someone edit or add something to their content and then I become the author.
I am not for sure the steps i should take to try and get this to work.

btw since this is for the 2.5 release I was not sure where to post this.

The author is generated when creating a page from the user, which stores the page. It exists no selection to change the user in the module, the name of the admin user was stored as cleartext.

But you can manage this with phpmyadmin. For example:

Open the table nuke_pages and find the filed uname. There is stored the author's name. But be carefull, the name must be a name of an existent admin user with access to the module.

Beside all of this, i can't see no checks for changing the author's name, if you edit&save an exsitent page. It seems you are must be only selected as module admin. After a test in RN25 i can change every page without a overwriting the author's name.

I will check again to see what I can do. That is why i had made the reference to the gcalendar setup as it allows you to change the author to who you want without having to edit the database. Smile
To expand on this some, I am trying to setup a lot of the site with the info they want and will be teaching them how to update their portion of content. If I set it up first then i am the author instead of the person that will be keeping the info up to date.
I am far from having the skills that a lot of you have, I am still young in the learning portion of this. I have learned to make changes to this and that which is usually changing a font, color, background and adding a few others. I am fully self taught and with places like this I have been able to ask for help and so many people have jumped in and helped.
well sorry didnt mean to go an write a book. Thank you for the response I will try your suggestion and work on some other ideas (create their account, give admin permission, input the data under their name, remove additional permissions)
