Hi All,
A couple of new bugs discovered:
Journal Version 2: Seems to work at first glance. However, after creating a journal entry, I found that the fonts were WAY too big, thus distorting the display. (Only when trying to view the journal entry).
It seems to work fine with the themes (styles) that came with the new version, but with custom themes, it doesnt... and yes, I did read the docs and included my edited custom theme style.css..
Since I will be using my custom theme, I reverted back to version 1, and all worked as it should.
Your_Account module (index.php) after a new user clicks on the the validation link, he or she is brought back to the site, but again, with distortions (very large fonts) and missing images.
I replaced the index.php with a previous version (Raven's 7.0) and the distortions disappeared.
Strange buggies!

I'd like to see this tested on a virgin 7.3 site. That way we would know if it is something introduced by security fixes or not. Does anyone have a virgin 7.3 site to test this? |

Re:Journal2 font
styles have been added to the Journal directory.
This is the structure:
./modules/Journal/styles/theme_name/style.css
READ THIS!
To enable the use of Font changes you must make a copy of
your Themes style.css and remove the line:
FONT {FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Helvetica; FONT-SIZE: 11px}
from it and place it in the Journal/styles in a directory with the
same name as your theme. We included all of the default themes but if
you have made changes to them you will want to follow this copy
proceedure so the Journal pages display with the same styles as the
rest of your site. |

Gang,
With a clean install of Raven's 7.3 distro, I have not been able to duplicate the problem with the Journals module. I only have three themes installed and other than a backgound color problem with one, I've not seen any problems with the font sizing.
Also, I created a test user and was again not able to duplicate the font size problem. |

As my opening message in this thread states, I DID this. Still had problems, but only with my custome theme.
Thanks for the thought, though. |

You can just not include the custom theme in the Journal/styles and it will default to using your original one the only effect is it over rides the display of custom fonts in the Journal. Really not a big deal. |
