I have the first 3 ShortLinks options in rnconfig.php set to true, and I have the shortlinks.htaccess in my .htaccess. I removed the latter of the shortlinks.htaccess, and when I go to my site and click on the urls, it loads up the default modules.php?name= and not my shortlink urls... |

Its only needed to put the code from the shortlinks.htaccess inside your .htaccess file. In the .htaccess file you can find some comments to activate it.

The ShortLinks still don't work. My site works if I go to http://mysite.com/Downloads.html, but everywhere on the site, the nukeNAV, etc, links to downloads.html, and the forums aren't changing to the ShortLinks, either. I tried using RewriteBase / as well. |

Yes. My server has mod_rewrite.
As I've said, the URLs work, and some of the blocks (like the Forums Collapsible block) link to the ShortLinks URLs, but everything else doesn't... |

Yes, it works completely, it just seems that the URLs aren't being outputted as the ShortLink URL. |

I would guess your problem is not in htaccess then.
Have you customized your site, specifically header.php or footer.php?
If you enable debugging for shortlinks in rnconfig does it tell you anything relevant? |

No, I didn't :/
Can you check my site out, please and see what could be the problem? It's just a fresh install. All I added was the User List mod for the Forums AdminCP, nothing else touched. Also, do you know where / what file I would add a base href to? Because I'm planning on modifying the shortlinks to be like

It could also be a side block that is causing the footer not to load. Turn on error reporting and see what errors are displayed. |

Thanks. I have found, and fixed the problem. The ShortLinks are now working correctly, and my footer is displaying. It had quite a few parse errors. My co-owner must have modified the footer file :S |

I know this may be hard to do, but how would I make it so that all of the forumsprofile links go to the Your_Account page for that user? Would I have to manually edit everything? I have a clickable username and avatar in the postbit, and that goes to /{username}, which is the user's Your_Account profile page. I want to get rid of the forums profile page, and only make use of the Your_Account page. How would I add the upload avatar feature and avatar gallery to the Your_Account UserCP? I want to not make use of the forums UserCP. It's too complicated. I've seen on sites where they have the Avatar Management on the Your_Account edit page. |

These are two different things. I think its impossible without a really big change in both modules. This is custom coding and with these changes you will have a lot of problems with some other modules inside RN. Don't forget please, Your_Account and Forums are two different modules with different preferences. Its a bridge. I mean it would be discussed with you for a while ago. |

Ok, I thought there may have been a way to do so, as I've seen many sites do this..
Bobby made this, as per a request I made. Is there a way to make the username color selector in the Your_Account control panel, instead of the forums profile?

These are also two different things. Custom Username Color mod is for the forum profile and not for your account. An upload-form inside Your_Account is def. wrong placed. These are two different modules and different database tables. You're still trying to replicate TTG but you are looking on the wrong place, believe me  TTG is heavy custom coded but it existes here a big thread where is all discussed. I doubt that someone is interested in rebuilding his RavenNuke in this way and for this to get other big problems. |
