Missing Preferences Data in Admin.php

Hiya

Odd problem that just came up. Oh, I'm running 7.4 patched 2.5 with Protector and Sentinal 2.0.2.

I went to my admin/preferences screen and found that all fields are blank.

All of the data is still there (as everything on the site is working normally); however, everything on this screen is blank.

Anyone got any ideas how to re-populate it from running site data?

Anyone got any ideas on what the heck happened/is going on?

I've checked for intrusions and there are none that I can tell.

OKay... so fortunately, my 7.2 patched 2.5 beta site is up and running so I could copy and paste the data from one to the other to repopulate the fields of my admin/preferences screen BUT, when I did that and clicked save, they all went blank again. All of the data is there in the database with nothing changing, but the admin/prefence screen just shows all fields as empty.

What on Earth could be going on?

Does anyone have any ideas?

The database nuke_config table is showing everthing so I just can't figure this one out. What would prevent it from populating the preferences screen? Ideas? Anyone?

I managed to fix this myself.

For some reason, the database messed up and I lost the my_headlines field in my config table. I recreated it by inserting a new row after broadcast_msg and sure enough, when I went back to my preferences screen all of the fields were repopulated by the existing data... PHEW!
