Bit confused now!

I have installed sentinel as per your guide.

A couple of things.

When I try to set the configuration, after saving I get this error:

Quote:

And on my forums I get both of these errors:

I cannot see that I have missed anything and would be very greatful of any help.

See if any of the solutions provided there help you out. If not post back and we'll have to dig a little deeper into the bag of tricks.

Thank you very much for that advice. I now appear to have got it to work.

I have just been hacked in the last few days by some Iranian fella who had a hack.html file and created a new Admin - then plastered his stuff on my site and locked me out. Stupid fella has the hacking file for free download on his site so I fetched it and hacked my way back in! Mr. Green

However, it was getting boring and annoying so I am glad I have got Sentinel running. Will this fella be unable to use his little hacking tool now?

I'm no Sentinel guru but I have read enough to tell you that if you enable 'admin http auth' from the Sentinel Admin page you will be pretty safe. And his ip will get banned every time he tries to hack ya.

Someone tried hacking in there today and they got now joy. Looks like they were using the same hackadmin prog - hack.html
