I haven't had any 'catches' for some time now, apart from when I banned myself when trying to add a block and hadn't turned off script blocker, Sentinel did email me and i got the full works, but my banned IP didnt show up in the Sentinel block afterwards.
How can I test it without banning myself? |

Well, if you have protected your admin name, you can test it and it should show you the warning page but not actually ban you. Since it had been working, what makes you think it suddenly stopped? It's not like certain bodily parts that stop working from lack of use  |

Thanks for testing Six I'll unban you're IP.
Sorry, it's just that I had a lot of attempts to hack the site a couple of months ago, and when I upgraded to 2.0.1 I made a mess of it and lost all my banned IP's and then got 3 in a row, then nothing for a for ages.
I guess they don't think my sites worth hacking rofl

I have had my site up for a year running 6.x, and 7.0. I recently upgraded to 7.4 and NukeSentinel after someone hacked the forums, but I am not sure how to test if NukeSentinel is working. It has been running for a week now, and the only ip in the blocked list is one I added manually. I am still a n00b learning all this stuff, so plz be gentle!
