I made changes to nukesentinel on my site and now when i try to access admin.php i get:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/xtremew/public_html/config.php:119) in /home/xtremew/public_html/includes/sentinel.php on line 828

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/xtremew/public_html/config.php:119) in /home/xtremew/public_html/includes/sentinel.php on line 829
Leave this site now!

anyone know what could be causing this and how to resolve the issue?

Search for 'Warning: Cannot modify header information ' - Read the FAQ

Are you using HTTP AUTH security or CGIAuth ?

Those lines seem to be telling you that your having a problem with HTTPAuth:
Code:
    if (!$allowPassageToAdmin) {

      header("WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm=Protected");
      header("HTTP/1.0 401 Unauthorized");
      die(_AB_GETOUT);
    }

Go into yoru database and browse the nuke_nsnst_config table. File the row with http_auth and set it's value to 0 (that's a zero). It will turn HTTPAuth off and you can then check and see if your still get the errors.

I have the exactly the same problem with a new install of Sentinel -- everything seems fine, except I can't get to any of the admin screens... all of them are blank with no entry in the server log file.

I am running phpnuke 7.5 patched and 4.3.9 php on an apache (2.0) server.

I've just spent a whole afternoon trying to get it to work and have uninstalled and reinstalled everything AND carefully read the notes above. But no joy Sad

Anyone have any ideas about what I might try, where I might look for a solution?

thanks,
Janet
