Cheers,
I installed my NukeSentinel™ 2.1.0 yesterday and have been very pleased ever since - a definate must for a Nuke Site, no doubt about it.
So, we now have the marvellous opportunity to BAN IP RANGES with NukeSentinel™ 2.1.0 - and that's absolutely great!!!
::: SPECIFICS :::
Talking about the subject - banning entire countries with the aid of the NukeSentinel™ 2.1.0 supported Feature
Today, I wrote a small utility, that pulls out info from *ip-to-country.csv* and further generates Country Specific MySQL DUMPS that can be imported via PHPMyAdmin (or via shell whatever...) to PHP-Nuke database, to be associated as DUMPS declaring *BANNED COUNTRY IP RANGES* - according to constraints and syntax dictated by NukeSentinel™ 2.1.0.
Why did I choose to do that? The answer is very simple - because, there really are some countries (actually, plenty of those) which I want to totally exclude as a source of potential annoyances.
As the Utility generates the Country specific *Banned IP Range MySQL DUMPS for each of the Countries*, I now have the perfect control over choosing which Countries I wish to declare as BANNED ones at my site.
Let me know, if you have interest to share this CHS script - the script is definately NOT *effective* in a sense of rapid performance, but it does exactly what it is supposed to do - i.e. produces those *peacemaker DUMPS* exluding Countries that I do not wish to see in future as visitor sources at my site(s).
BR,

JRSweets,
OK, great! - I'll now begin with writing a *short and compact* instruction set on easy'n'immediate usage and wrap it up as a package to be shared tomorrow at the latest (possibly even earlier).
Thanks a lot,
BR,

Sure, thanks for the notice - certainly so.
I was thinking whether it might be a good idea to post here (to Forums only) the download location for this minor *collaborative tool*.
::: As a General Public Notice :::
As the NukeSentinel™ is a *protected* trademark/product by third Parties, I'd wish to emphasize the fact that *this script/tool* is not supported by the Authors/Trusted Parties of NukeSentinel™.
The *tool* is simply a result of a personally applied approach on banning entire countr(y/ies) IP Ranges via straightforward constrained format country specific MySQL DUMP(s) Generation.
Given this as a general notice, user discretion is advised.
Thanks,

Sure thing, we're on the next boats to each other (in a sense) - being a finn and a non-native english speaker, I find myself occasionally in very interesting discussion scenes. (Well, life is hard and then you dye your hair.)
Talk to you soon,
