Hi,
I am new to php and nuke but have been able to muddle through most things. However, I am getting an error in the iframe that I can't figure out. Here it is:
Warning: mysql_select_db() [function.mysql-select-db]: Access denied for user: 'disciple@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/disciple/public_html/modules/realtime-stats/index.php on line 46

(30 sec. refresh)
I have tried using my name for my database administration, for my nuke site administration and neither one seems to work and I am not sure why.
If you could give me some direction I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
Rick
P.S. I am using nuke 6.7 and my site is located here: http://www.discipleshipresourcecenter.com |

rick,
This means that your id/password combination is invalid. i have no way of knowing what they should be. |

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
That's what I thought it was trying to tell me and I don't mean to sound dense but I am still a little confused.
I assume that the id/password combination you are speaking of is for my nuke database.
If that's true then as far as I can tell as I try to follow the script it looks as though it takes the user name I input (which is definitely correct) and then looks for the config file to get the db name, the db host and the db password.
If that's true then I am really lost because I know the name I have entered is correct.
I am sure it is something on my end but I am just not seeing it. I have double and triple checked and saved and replaced and cleared my cookies and everything else I could think of but I'm still stuck.
I use cpanel everyday to check my stats and get to my databases, so I am sure of my admin site name which is why I am confused.
Any suggestions for me?
Thanks again,
Rick |

Hi Gaylen,
I have not forgotten about this issue or your offer (thank you). I am busy at the moment with several other things. I will get back to this one soon. I may need to speak with you concerning a couple other matters as well.
Thanks,
Rick |

If your MySQL user/id is correct, then it can mean that that user/id does not have sufficient permissions on the Nuke database that it is trying to access. As I said, I can diagnose/fix this once I have access to your site. |
