Downloads submission question

Can't people link to an off site file and submit to my downloads?

I have someone who has done that and when I check the url it just redirects me to the 'downloads waithing validation' page.

It looks like the user that submitted the downloads was not registered. Would that be the cause?

OK, registered user submitted a download and it just redirects you to the download page and does not try and download the file.

I checked all your downloads and they worked perfectly but i may be misunderstanding you here.

I just looked at them and they do indeed come back to the dl page... can't you edit them and see where they point to? Also sometimes if there is a parentheses in the url it will do this. Change them to asterisks

You think it is that tilde? It should not be because the [JH] download has a tilde in it.

It is his web site. He can't link images for sigs or anything. He has a crappy host. Not awesome like Raven. Very Happy
