phpnuke 7.6 > admin.php 404 not found

I am new here.... I was looking arround but not found same error report.

I try to access my Phpnuke 7.6 from the administrator
www.mydomain.com/admin.php I get the 2 logon box for user id and pasword - but when type the user Id = admin and type my password and try to access I get a 404 error and not able to access the administrator

full error is :
-----------------
domain url look : www.myddomain.com/.php (after try login to administrator panel)

Not Found
The requested URL /.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Are you using the virgin 7.6 d/l, the 7.6 patched download, or some other configuration?

I got my vertion via http://www.conrads-berlin.de
normal everything work fine if download from them -

I not sure if they got it from other source.

I wil be happy if I can get back into my control panel again ( smile)

after I made the full upgrade to 7.6, I found the day after the Version 7.6.0 Ptached 2.7 and upgrade this - in hope I got fix the administrator error
but no luck -

If it's not too much trouble, delete all your files, download the 7.6patched from this site and reftp them. Drop your database and reinstall it. Somewhere along the line something's not complete.
