You have helped a lot, thanks.

I do use pretty much one forum for all my themes as well. It seems to make things much quicker.

Copying to a sub directory is what I did when I went from 6.9 to 7.4 and it went pretty well so I really do agree with your way of upgrading. It makes it so you don't feel pressure to hurry things up.

As far as the support from this site, well, it sucks! Laughing

Just kidding, of course.

Just curious, which version of Arcade are you using?

3.0.1 I think. It is the version that supports IBPro Games.

Thank you very much. The current theme is the newest one I just finished today. talk about a lot of work! The code for the header will make you dribble down your leg. It was flash to start with and it took me quite a while to get rid of the call to a flash and change it to call to a jpg and still have the right alignment.

That site is over 1 year in the making.

Now I just gotta install that Forums News mod. Shocked

Well, I just finished this install and am getting an error.

Quote:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/wetopthe/public_html/phenylshouse/modules/Forums/viewtopic.php on line 1610

Here is line 1610.

Code:
$delim = htmlspecialchars( '<!--break-->' );

I think I might have messed up an includes file but I don't know which one. Just thought I would post this while I try to hunt down my mistake.

So is the bottom line here that the points systems just doesn't work in 7.4?

If so, could someone please post the fix for those of us that want to make it work.

Big Thanks

CHATSERV - please help here.

Is there a way to get the phpNuke Points system to work (without having to install games modules and such)

Points worked fine before 7.4, what's up and how do I get it working again?

You are the man and I'm sure you know what to do.

I don't usually find people asking about the default point system, i guess a few do use it, so what exactly is the problem, they don't work for you at all? or it works on some parts but not on all?

Not at all presently.

The points worked before applying the 7.4 sec patches but now - nothing.

I tried removing the patches but still am unable to make it work for anything.

I did get FNA working on my site. As far as points system, I use the points add on from portedmods. I have never tried the nuke points system so I can't really help there.

I had a very hard time hunting down exactly how Nuke monitors points for 7.4. In some cases it goes by user name and in some cases it goes by userid. I may be wrong about that but I have not found evidence to prove otherwise.
