Wife's Sister Just Diagnosed with Stomach Cancer

My wife's sister is only 34 years old and was just diagnosed with stomach cancer! Not that she didn't already have enough troubles in her life. Would appreciate prayers for her and her four children and family. The Dr. wants to operate immediately but in case something would happen she doesn't want to do it before Christmas and cause Christmas to be a really bad memory for her children!

Heavenly Father, we beseech you through the blood of Jesus Christ and if it be thy will, may the doctors have the ability to remove the cancer and spare this lady's life. We pray your mercy and strength for all concerned, especially the children, that all might see the power of faith and prayer in this troublesome time. May there be a victory that will even amaze the doctors and loved ones who may not know Christ as their Savior. In all things, may your Name be praised above all other names, Amen.

My wife's sister had her surgery and they had to remove a portion of her stomach, but the good news is that it had not spread. They think they have gotten it all. However, they found that her stomach was riddled with ulcers! I cannot imagine why... She will have to go through chemo still and possibly radiation. Unfortunately, the Dr. made a comment that he would not be surprised if she developed cancer there again... Not something you should say to someone with major ulcers!!!
