I hope someone can help

I've posted this at the PhPBB2 help forum but no one bothered to answer so I'm hoping that someone here will be able to help me out as I'd like to be able to use this mod with the phpbb forum that comes with the nuke I run.

I've installed phpBB2 on another domain I run so that I could test out the hacks and mods on it before attempting to use them on the phpbb that comes with Nuke. First, are the mods/hacks for phpBB2 compatible with the Nuke phpBB?

On my test forum, I've installed the absent user 1_1_7 and this is the error message I receive:

Also, I have another question about the phpbb that comes with the nuke. I'm running Nuke 7.5 if that matters at all.

Can I update the forums only to other versions?

Yes. But, you should also update all files relating to the database upgrade to be safe.
