banned while check FAQ's

a couple members have been banned while looking threw the FAQ (module) can someone explain why this might be happening ?
is this a hack attempt ?

%28 and %29 are () which are not allowed in the QueryString.

Same issues exists in Downloads categories and could be elsewhere per some recent posts. Take a look at your categories and possibly other data fields for parenthesis and replace with the [ square brackets ].
