Greets:

I've been working on duping my site with different domains. I've got that worked out which you can see at http://www.tdjc.net , http://www.tdjc.info , and http://www.thedariajaneconspiracy.info . My task was to create four different domains/ sites while using the same database.

I did this by changing the line in mainfile.php:

$nukeurl = $row['nukeurl'];

to actually load the domain that I wanted.

I've noticed though that with Sentinel installed and the option "Force Site Name", it loads the real domain. That tells me Sentinel is also loading the nukeurl from somewhere as well. I did a grep looking for that line above but all I got was a lot of garbage. (It kept hitting on the equal sign.)

Someone want to help me out and tell me if and where Sentinel loads the nukeurl from elsewhere? I can turn off the url force but I would rather not.

Thanks,
-drmike

Look in includes/sentinel.php around line 42 you see the nuke_config file is read and around line 290 find '// Force to NUKEURL', and you will Sentinel loads it from the nuke_config array and it is called at the beginning of mainfile. That will be where you will have to do your magic.

Of course it would be on the line right after that. I wonder how many times I looked at it. *sigh*

$servtemp1 = strtolower(eregi_replace("http://", "", "www.tdjc.info"));

Off to do some editing. I like the force URL feature. It's a help since Google and yahoo have a number of bad links.

Thanks for the help,
-drmike
