Removing italics from NukeNews stories

Ok, I've deleted every <i> <i> from the theme.php on the NukeNews module. I've also changed the text decoration from italics to normal on the style sheet of the same module. Yet the stories continue to have the italics on them. I've actually deleted the stories and reposted them but the italics won't go away. I'm using 7.5 patched. Any tips?

Did I fail to tell you guys that the 60's were rather rough on my brain cells?
I was modifiying the wrong theme. Sorry to bother ya'll
