Hi

When logged in as user, changing theme (or merely clicking the save button on the same theme) the user is taken to a blank page. The link properties look okay, so I can't understand what is going on.

Ideas?

Thanks

I'll ask the obvious: Have you checked your server error_log? If you have display_errors Off then turn them on temporarily, run it again, turn them off, then check your log.

When you say having display_errors off, no. They are always on.

The only error I am getting is a GT error that I haven't nailed down yet when logged in as admin, but this doesn't have anything to do with the problem at hand.

Other than that, my server logs only show hundreds and hundreds of:
client denied by server configuration: /public_html/modules.php

Beyond that, nothing really.

By the way, I should mention that I'm running 7.6 Platinum.

It looks like the line
Header("Location: modules.php?name=$module_name&theme=$theme");
Is missing from the file modules/Your_Account/public/savetheme.php
But I don't know it thats by design or error so you'll have to experiment. Platinum appears to have used some beta files we never officially released.

Try that line right after the set cookie line
Code:
    yacookie($userinfo[user_id],$userinfo[username],$userinfo[user_password],$userinfo[storynum],$userinfo[umode],$userinfo[uorder],$userinfo[thold],$userinfo[noscore],$userinfo[ublockon],$theme,$userinfo[commentmax]);

Yeah, that fixed it.

You know I tried that last night with just YA (after looking one of the other savexxx.php files and I'll be d***ed if it didn't work... but you know I don't think I had the &theme=$theme.php on it.)

Thanks Six.

Is that good or bad?

I dunno just makes it hard for me because I have no clue is all I'm saying. We weren't involved in the decision though have no objection to it at all. But there have been several support issues that were specific to that release and lifes to short to support every version of nuke.

Once 450 Stable is released I do intend to make a osc2nuke port available but thats totally OffTopic

Yeah, you know I have some other issues with Platinum; modifying other peoples' solutions; however, in the case of CNB, I was under the direct impresssion that you were involved in the development. Specifically because it identifies this forum as the support forum.

As an example of my concerns, they modified the NukeSentinel installation files and I have a forum thread going about that too over there.

I think this is another example of not only the ethical problems related to changing the solutions developed by others, but also the technical difficulties associated with modifying other peoples files and then the methodologies of supporting those modifications.

If there is a different CNB that I should be using, please advise on where I should get the latest version so that I may at least compare the individual files included for differences and consider eliminating the Platinum version in favor of the CNB official version to ease support burdens.

1 last thing, can you wrap that long string in a "CODE" so that it wraps?

Thanks
Steph

It wraps in IE Smile, although it could be your theme. Try changing to a standard theme and see if it wraps.

I'm using your Extralite theme (default I think) and it still doesn't wrap even in the "CODE" here. But thanks for trying six.

IE? Who uses IE? I'm using Firefox.

Smile
