hi,
you probably forgot to read the install file.....
you have to ad a few lines into your javascript.php file.
open up the readme file and look for this....
JAVASCRIPT.PHP File Edits:
==========================
1) Open your includes/javascript.php file and find:
Code:

1) Open your includes/javascript.php file and find:
##################################################
# Include for some common java scri pts functions #

|
and do whats explained.
and check the rest to... |

I have the same error in Nuke 6.5. after update to sentinel 2.1.3. I only see the string "javascript void()".
Maybe its a problem with the mainfile.php.
Or where can I find the error.
Can`t post my javascript.php again I just have been blocked from this site |

no your not blocked...
do read the install file...
some stuff needs to be added to your files so some sentinel functions can work properly.
if posting javascript post it with spaces between it like....
<java script> |

dont know yet,but go to http://gp4tweaker.vadertrophy.com/cms/index.php
on top you see a few big buttons and just above that it says "Current Projects".....move your mouse over the buttons....if you see the messages "popup" then all is ok... |

IE isn`t the problem. There are only two settings for the "Help System Type" On Image Mouseover doesn`t work.
What about the mainfile.php ? Could that be a reason for this problem ? |

Of course I tried the link and have no problems on this site. So, I have to check all again in sentinel, but I think I have no chance to find this error. It´ s only one more in my nuke. |

well its difficult for us to tell what is causing it.
perhaps you have some simular installed stuff that kills it..
i suggest checking everything again....
and if absolutely nothing works you might wanna considder letting someone else have a look.... |

the problem it doesn't NukeSentinel, the problem could be your theme, change the theme to another which doesn't use Javascript.

Well here's a new one. The javascript help window pops up....but there is no message inside it. Now this isnt really a problem...except that if I want to view the details of a blocked IP I cannot because the javascript window is empty. What did I miss. Site is PHP-Nuke 7.6 with Chatserv's 2.9 patches and subBlack3dBlue theme and sentinel 2.13. And yes I have checked my javascript.php to make sure I edited it correctly.
[Self Edit] Never mind I found it. The message is displayed as white text on a white background. I will edit overlib.js in includes folder to fix it. [/Self Edit] |

My javascript help window did`t work, because I changed some things in all headers.php. The same problem is with the forums pop up window.
I guess thats the reason. |

One possible problem would be if there are other scripts on your site that are using overlib.js and are loading on every page. This could be causing their overlib's to interact/interfere with NukeSentinel's overlib's. |

I had the same problem. My theme (NSN_Orange) had a file called "overlib.js" on the style folder.
I just copied the overlib.js from the folder "/includes" and pasted into "themes/NSN_Orange/style"
Maybe they are a little different (or not), and the browser gets confused reading two files with the same name in the temp folder (...maybe not... )
Anyway, It worked for me, my page works correctly, and now I can see the Java_script help
You should try it. (maybe not... )

I remember that when i made that change it did not work at first. I had to delete the files and cookies stored in the browser's temporary files, and then this worked.

The overlib.js included in the NSN themes is a much older version then the one packaged in NukeSentinel |
