_TEMP registration number not converting to member # *FIXED*

been haveing an issue for awhile where the registration number is sticking with a new member after clicking the email activation link instead of switching to the next incremented number ??

sorry if this has been asked before ive tried search's a couple times and havnt came up with what i am looking for and Thank you for any help

also on the homepage it shows 300 regstered members and it shows 301 in the forum for registered members its always 1 off like this are the problems related ?

Have you updated the forums or is it an older version? I think that somewhere along the way the number selection has been changed to allow MySQL to select it which works much more consistently. If not there is a a post by phreekie I think around here with step by step instructions on how to do this.

The number of users difference is what it is. If you really want to fix it edit the block to add one before echoing out the total.

i thought i had seen a post about this but didnt come up with anything when i searched for it..

i am no coder could you tell me what the code should be and where it goes to add 1 before echoing out a total ?

i fixed my registration issue by doing a backup of the DATA ONLY in the table nuke_users. Then dropped the table completely as well as my nuke_temp. Went to the sql of my version found the original tables copy and pasted both tables into notepad. Called it from phpmyadmin and created new blank tables. Then called my backup of the DATA ONLY and inserted that into my tables and wala my registration issue is resolved.....

I did not contact chat serv simply because i did want to try and figure this out on my own and at the point i contacted you i was very frustrated with my issue . so i just for got about it for a lil while longer settled down and got it fixed.... staying busy with other things and the love to conquer issues that you can't just find the answers for so easily..actually its been fixed for a few weeks ive just now had the time to come back and let ya know and have a look see at what other great things you have came up with..
