Hello everybody,
I just wanted to inform you that we are about to release CNB Your Account 5.0.0 to a select group of testers after which we will release a public beta to the general public.
I just returned from a trip to South Africa where I proposed to my girlfriend, so this is just a quick notice to let you know we are still alive and CNB Your Account is surely still going strong.
More specifications on our next release will be posted as soon as I have unpacked my suitcases
Cheers,
Richard |

Last call for beta testers to apply.

YEAH!!!
CNBYA 5.0.0 alpha 1 is send out to most of the members of our official testteam.
Of course you can still get in touch, read our rules and instructions in the link somewhere above and become part of the testteam.
Note that we only accept persons with more than average php skills and enough phpnuke knowledge. Our testteam contains of people that are willing to fix some of the bugs they find and have the motivation to improve the quality of this module.
We have no test results yet. We will work hard to find the most obvious bugs, clean up the code and try to release a public beta somewhere the end of this month.
From the dev-team I can say that we see this as a huge milestone.
CNB Your Account 5.0.0 will be a huge step forward in phpnuke user management.
We also want to take the opportunity to thank everyone on this forum that has reported bugs, quirks and suggested improvement. Without your support a GPL/GNU Open Source project like CNB Your Account would not be able to evolve.
Cheers from André Escudero and Richard van Oosterhout (menelaos61) |

Hello again, Six! If you check the forums at SourceForge, you'll see 64bitguy found and fixed some issues, but we're still having problems logging out (it just doesn't seem to let you go!). The enhancements I've seen look VERY good indeed, and I look forward to seeing 5.0 released. |

Is this posted at sourceforge too? (I'll look)
I know the forum kill session was commented out in the index.php logout function and once that is uncommented it seems ok for me?

I'm pretty sure 64bitguy posted it at sourceforge (I saw it there before testing it myself). I don't remember seeing anything about the forum kill session. |

All I can tell you is that 5.0 has been in beta (with a few significant issues outstanding) for a WHILE. It's a great release - or it will be if we ever get it. I see that CNB just released an update to Contenudo...I wonder if there are different developers working on that or why development seems to have stopped. Sixonetonoffun, where are you?? |

Well i wonder by now if this is going anywhere at all.
As far as know of menelaos61 is working on it and its taking a very long time.
It seems to me that its getting to big and that can cause problems as well.
As i was originaly a testperson i didnt used it on my running site cause it had bugs, but i did expected it to be solved by now.
were talking about a handfull of betatesters that are running it...but they dont respresend the majority of averedge nuke users.
I do expect problems when they release it.. |
