Hello all, I have just upgraded to the latest gallery 1.5 but I could only get it to work if I switched on "register_globals check" I think from what it said if I switch this on it can lower my security?
should I be worried about this?

Since you host here I will respond to this one. Even though I would prefer to run with register_global Off, too many legacy scripts are written specifically expecting it to be On. Therefore, it becomes the responsibility of the script writers to ensure that all input is cleansed and not the system.
