I get this error when I try to login into my admin on the forum:

Code:
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not open template config file

DEBUG MODE

Line : 386
File : functions.php

I was installing a new forum theme saw there was an empty slot in the "set as default theme" so I was curious and clicked it. Now I can't log into admin.

Thanks for your help.

May have to go in through the database and set the default theme back to the theme name it was originally.

Could you guide me through how exactly to do that?

EDIT: Sorry I'm kinda new to all this.

Ok in the database - the table nuke_bbconfig holds the values config_name and config_value. If you browse the database, you will find an entry for "default_style" and a numeric value in the config_value field.

I believe this number corresponds to the themes found in the database table nuke_bbthemes - browse this table to find the 'themes_id' of the theme you want it to be, and replace the config_value numeric value with the numeric value that you find in nuke_bbthemes.

Let me know if it works for you.

Ok - you probably have to scroll down to the next page in your database editor to find the default_style. Look for some buttons that look either like << and >> or < and > (thats what it looks like in my phpmyadmin anyway) or something that says scroll down. Typically when you browse it will only show you the first 25-30 or so fields on one page, and you have to scroll down to get to the next area.

Once you find it, click on the "Edit" and change the number (which I am guessing will be 3 as that is the 'empty' one) to a 1 or a 2 - depending on which theme you are using.

You are on the right track though...

Ok it worked, I got it back to normal.
Just one more question though; how can I have different themes for my forum, without changing my entire website?

Thanks for all your help.

Not sure, might ask one of the theme designers - Jaded is a good one to ask on that one.
