i am just wondering what the differences are between nuke and just a php site. i currently have a site that i want to add more content to and make it more streamlined and easy to find. i am having trouble doing this with my nuke site so i am considering switching the site over to php.

is this hard to do? What are the major differences between the two systems? thanks! Smile

php-Nuke is just a CMS system that is modular based, integrated with a bulletin board and several built in modules to make content management easy.

'a regular php site' is a bit ambiguous - but there are other cms packages written IN php

I am surprised that with options such as google tap (easy to find), content modules (add more content), and a plethora of options that nuke wouldn't be a feasible option.

An example:

War and Piece vs. the English Language.

War and Piece is a book written in the English Language. (It was written in English, was it? Smile )

PHP-Nuke is a program that was written with PHP coding.

Candy, do you really need dynamic content or do you need to just serve up static html pages? If you need the ability to serve up dynamic content but not all the thorns and thistles, I mean bells and whistles of phpnuke, then you might want to look at other CMS's. Try these sites
