I have installed NSN News 770 on PHP Nuke 7.6 pached. Looks like everyting is working but it will not post the news. I have it running on two sites. One site I did not change the admin file name for nuke and nsn news work. The site that will not work I have changed the nuke admin file.

Could this be the problem? If so what do I need to change to make NSN News work.

Thanks

Sounds like the admin change is the cause. What did you change?

all I did was changed my nuke admin.php file to myadmin.php and changed $admin_file = "admin"; in my nuke config.php file to $admin_file = "myadmin";

Check the description of NSN News 770:
Features:
- eregi's converted to stristr's where possible.
- It requires PHP-Nuke 7.7 + Patched 3.0 be installed.

You should be using NSN News 750 pl1
Features:
- eregi's converted to stristr's where possible.
- It requires PHP-Nuke 7.5-7.6 + Patched 2.9 be installed.

The readme file that came with it has this:
- It requires PHP-Nuke 7.5 thru 7.6 plus Patched 2.9+ to be installed.

Thats cool. I will just uninstall and install 750

You probably need to back out the changes to the admin.php file, too.

Just installed NSN News 750 and it works, but I see things like _score, _mostread, _moreabout and _averagescore.

What could be causing this?

There are some language definitions missing.
