nuke points and groups system

hi everyone well i need little bit of advice with phpnuke points system make sure i doing this right,
as far as this goes, with the phpnuke points system it uses points where pphbb mods use user_points so if i change user_points to points but what do i do with the value .$board_config['points_name'].' do i change it to points or leave it as it is,
then i can get on with the points system mod,
so apart from this all all is fine because i altered this nuke so much with phpbb running the admin styles for root/themes and all the sytles use extreme styles and smarty, all the files have been recoded, even got rid of mainfile functions and rewrote them as classes and currently preparing the first beta of phoenix.

So is what you are asking something like this: you have done away with mainfile.php, but you want to know how changing from phpbb points to nuke points will affect the board?
