Scrolling center block

Having discussed this at length in the 'blocks' forum, with Raven providing an excellent file for use - it might be a nice option to switch off certain forum categories in the collapsable, scrolling forum block too.

I cannot think of anything else it doesnt do except make a nice cup of coffee.

Try this and let me know if it works. In the collapsing forum block, find

Code:

error_reporting(0);

and add this line after

$hideTheseForums     = ''; // add forumid's as in '1,4,17'

Then find

$result = $db->sql_query( "SELECT topic_id, forum_id, topic_last_post_id, topic_title, topic_poster, topic_views, topic_replies, topic_moved_id, topic_status FROM ".$user_prefix."_bbtopics ORDER BY topic_last_post_id DESC");

and change it to

$result = $db->sql_query( "SELECT topic_id, forum_id, topic_last_post_id, topic_title, topic_poster, topic_views, topic_replies, topic_moved_id, topic_status FROM ".$user_prefix."_bbtopics WHERE forum_id NOT IN($hideTheseForums) ORDER BY topic_last_post_id DESC");

No that didnt work.
Everything within the block is set to its default values i.e. as it was when it was downloaded.
Added / changed the additional code setting $hideTheseForums to '46,47,48' which are the forums I would want to hide.

No forums at all are showing in the block but when selecting 'show' I see 'undefined' listed twice in forum topic.

Actually the ORDER BY clause had to be moved AFTER the WHERE clause. It was late and I'm on drugs .....
