Main Message on Front page disappeared after 3.1 upgrade

The main message that should be at the middle top of the Nuke site is missing after I upgraded Nuke to 3.1

It is set to "All Visitors" and is active.

Funny thing is I tried to set the NukeSentinal block to display the large logo across the bottom center. I think it is Hacker Beware and it will not display either. I don't know if these two are related.

The NukeSentinal is a fresh 2.4.0 install.

Have you checked your server error log to see if it tells you anything?

I changed the theme to something else but still get the same issue. So now I can assume it is not theme related.

I have been trying to fix the errors in the log and am down to the last one.

The style.css says the following.

I have been messing with this path for awhile now. The style directory is one level away from the images directory so why doesn't this work?

Probably because it's relative to your site. Try changing it and making it relative to /themes.
