can we set a expiration time for news articles?

Is it possible to set a default time-line for articles to disappear fro mthe front page? Is that what the "program" is for?

The program is for when the article can appear - just the opposite of what you are looking for. Having an ending date or ending time would be a nice addition to the news function.

yeah, i thought so... Polls have an expiration date.
