Hi all,
I needed a subscription solution for my website, so after spending weeks authoring my website, I recently installed Nuke Royal's E-Solutions, (which, incidentally, has been heavily advertised on this very website).
After visiting their website, at http://www.nukeroyal.com, I was supplied with Version 2.0 of the E-Solutions software and putting aside the fact that it does not accommodate my desire to sell tangible goods, (only download files), there are major problems.
Firstly, in addition to the poor English language used throughout the software, the only manual/instructions available when purchasing the Nuke Royal E-Solutions product, is a simple/basic online manual. However this is extremely poor and is only for Version 1.5 of the product, thus does not explain half of the features I can see on the version 2.0 product I have.
This also means that as a user, I am not able to learn each individual function available unless I continuously correspond with the author of the software, who is always too busy to help and innuends/suggests you are stupid for not simply realising how the software works.
Another extremely concerning, frustrating and unacceptable fact is that the online screen tips, (or help pop up menu's), only work when using the 'Microsoft Internet Explorer' browser and do not work with other popular browsers such as 'Mozilla Firefox'! So, if you are a user of 'Mozilla Firefox' and never use the 'Microsoft Internet Explorer' browser, the result is you spending hours of wasted time, attempting to make a function work, finding out it doesn't, attempting to find out why it does not and having absolutely no luck!
Particularly as Nuke Royal has proven to be a company operated by one individual, my advice is to NOT invest in any of the products unless you have HOURS to spare and correspond with the software author, about every individual change or configuration you need to perform.
My final point is that I now wish to uninstall the Version 2.0 of the E-Solutions software from my website and wonder if anyone can advise on how this should be done.
I have no clue how to administer the MySQL database directly and I assume that even if I manually delete all the E-Solutions software files, there is now going to be tables in the MySQL database that will require deleting.
Please can someone help? |

well thats a lot of bull.
besides the point if any readme file is available or wheiter the install is easy or not...nobody forced you into buying this script.
for me it does everything i need or want it to do.
Sure you can buy online shops for a few thousand bucks.
Do you have that money ?
Ill bet not..
As for the one man show..
You want me to name a few scripts that are mostly developed by one person ?
Any normal person makes backups of his or her website.
Didnt you ?
And if you have any complains, did you contacted the author ? |

I know very well the product and the author. I have contacted him and asked him to join in. I would ask that no one else post anything until we hear from luvky. He lives in Spain and so he's about 8 hours ahead of us right now and if he has any sense at all, he's sleeping right now
Also, I have modified the title of the thread as that was out of your frustration and not out of fairness. |
