I'm not sure if this is the proper place for such a request but can anyone make the Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! work on 7.6? I basically want to allow users to post submissions to the Encyclopedias and it show on the admin block that there are submissions requiring approval. I "almost" got this one to work but the admin part doesn't work for 7.6.

Show me where you you got the hack, and I'll take a look.

EDIT: Oops.. You did that, but I couldn't find it. Let me check more thoroughly.

EDIT 2: Found it. Looking...

Try Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login!. Note that this hack requires patched 3.1, but should work with 7.5 or higher.

Thanks for the help, kguske. Unfortunately it didn't work. The following part of mainfile.php just simply does not exist. I think the code is in the Admin_Submissions block? I tried it there and it doesn't work properly. I'm using platinum if that matters?

Code:
$content .= "<strong><big>&middot;</big></strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"admin.php?op=DownloadsListBrokenDownloads\">"._BROKENDOWN."</a>: $brokend<br></font>";

Just curious - how could it work if you weren't able to add the code to the mainfile? What isn't working? Are users unable to submit encyclopedia entries, are you unable to administer them, or do you simply not see the Waiting submissions information?

Regarding the waiting submissions information (and probably everything else, too), yes, using Platinum matters. I'm not sure, but I think the admin submissions code was removed from the mainfile and placed into a block in Platinum. If so, you would need to add the code to the block.

I tried putting the code in the admin submissions block. the problem i had before i posted here was that the admin submissions block would link me the the Encylopedia Admin within PHP Admin. There was no way to approved or deny the submissions. However, the submissions page worked fine and stored the data in my database. I just couldn't figure out how to admin the submissions. Now that I tried the above download I just get "you cannot access directly" when I just try to browse the Encyclopedia.

My guess is that you don't have patch 3.1 installed.

Hey, thanks for this one!

I'm pleased to state that it works with RN. I've been looking for this mod for awhile now, and am glad to have found it and have it be a simple add-on. The only thing is it looks like there are a couple lang terms missing from the admin file, but that is an easy fix. Smile RavensScripts

If you send them to me (or post the missing ones here), I'll update the download.

Could you tell me if the Encyclopedia Hack presented by kguske also works fine with the latest Version of Raven Nuke? The mainfile.php seems to be different.
Thanks in advance
