Ok for thos helping with my post about 3.1, ive changed the pacthed ver to 2.9 and I am not getting the problems with the theme, YAY!
but....
now with 2.9 patch evry time I do the edits to the mainfile.php the site goes blank.
The edits dont match what the 2.9 text, prob cos as it says in the edits files its for 3.1
so.....
In the edit it says find this...

The problem is that I dont know were in my 2.9 main file to end the cut
i know I delete it from "if (defined('FORUM_ADMIN')) {" but I dont know were to end it. |

mmmm,well by now there's so much you have done...
its possible some codes are messed up somewhere...,thats usual the result in situations like this...
I would almost suggest to upload the 7.6 3.0 overwriting all.... |

I might try 3.0, becuse im sure I have done evry thing corectly, it just dosnt like that last line of code, the only problem is I cant find the 3.0
thats what I wanted but couldnt find it soo i had to sue 2.9  |

Well ive got it working but I had to settle for a older Sentinel Ver to work with 2.9
I followed the instructions very closely for the 7.6 3.1 install, but as said, they are for 3.1 and will differ, and in this case enough that I couldnt get it to work, and with the 3.0 you sent me.
So I went back to the 2.9 with the older ver of Sentinel ( I forget which one now I think it was 2.3) and it worked.
