404 page works in firefox but not in IE ?

Ok heres a custom 404 page and i like that it sends a mail whoever triggers it.
Thing is..
When i try this in firefox and type a page that isnt there i get the custom 404 but i IE i get nothing..no 404 just like your going for a page that isnt there.
So why not in IE ?

Lol...
well it seemd that IE has his way of dealing with this...
Meaning,if your very nice great looking 404 custom is to litle like 600 bytes then it doesnt work ..
