Hi, I'm pretty sure I'm running phpnuke 7.7. I'm certain I'm running bbtonuke 2.0.17 and I've got nukesentinel running.. The forums say it's time to upgrade to bbtonuke 2.0.18 in my admin panel. Do I download the patched one from nukeresources or what??

Thanks

Ignore it until BBtoNuke 2.0.18 is ready. It could take a while, there were a lot of changes.

I haven't played with the new version yet. I worried about the date stamp on it being November 1, because there were some revisions. Looks like Chatserv didn't waste any time working on it.

For patched 2.9 or later users, use:

The BBToNuke 2.0.18 release is indeed an untested version.
There have been some bugs with phpBB 2.0.18 - so I don't know if they translate into problems for phpNuke.

chatserv will be going back and rechecking the files to make sure all changes made it into BBToNuke

Oh, OK, cool. I'll wait.. But will it be OK for older versions of phpnuke such as mine??

I'm too lazy to update my phpnuke.. Sad Actually, not so much lazy. It just sucks doing this stuff when you're on dialup.

Well only probs I seen with the phpbb2nuke was firefox related but I do have the 1.5rc1 so Im sure there's bugs in it. First off what it would do in the admin panel when you submitted something like modifying a user's permissions or other it would go to a page of bare script or ascii I suppose. And when I would click some links moving aroun the forum I would all a sudden get a forbidden page. But on IE I noticed nothing and my friends and host think Im seeing things..lol Im sure its a lot of fixes but I cant tell a difference unless its mostly security stuff.

Well BBToNuke should be compatible with all 7.x series of phpNuke.
And it should be compatible with 6.x too, with only a few small code changes
