Hey i have done a new installation of phpnuke 7.6 patched 3.0 (i think)
but i have installed it so it is getting accessed through the IP .. like this
http://70.85.30.206/~clanaif/ .. anyway i have installed it fine but when i try to use the forum module i get this error:
Quote: | phpBB : Critical Error
Error creating new session
DEBUG MODE
SQL Error : 1054 Unknown column 'session_admin' in 'field list'
INSERT INTO nuke_bbsessions (session_id, session_user_id, session_start, session_time, session_ip, session_page, session_logged_in, session_admin) VALUES ('a92e93d5e645c7176ca9446bc82a2df9', '1', '1132551710', '1132551710', 'ca07a6a5', '0', '0', '0')
Line : 203
File : sessions.php |
would it be because of it being accessed through IP?
i have installed it about 3 times so i dunno whats causing it...
thanks in advance! |

The first issue is because your Forum files and your database tables do not jive with each other. The 7.6 patched 3.* that you installed should have had an "update.php" in the root that you will need to run to add the admin session column that is giving you your error.
As for the missing images, it is quite possible that the theme folder is corrupt and will need to be reuploaded. As for your question about whether it is happening because you are calling up your site via IP, yes I think that is a possibility as well. You can determine if that is the cause by setting the IP in your Nuke Preferences and Forum ACP General settings.
Hope this helps |

Using your FTP client, verify that the theme files all have a file size, and are not showing zero for filesize. |

I presume you have checked the permissions on the theme folder and in particular the images directory and images themselves to ensure they are world readable? |

Would it have anything to do with me using the Cpanel filemanager to extrat all the files from the "html" directory instead of uploading them one by one?"??? |

It is quite possible. It would be worth checking. |

That could be well worth investigating as CurtisH mentioned.
I have never used it myself but another question pops up with regard to the file manager - I wonder if it is uploading the files in the correct mode i.e ascii /binary |
