downgrade script

i spent the last 30 minutes trying to find the downgrade script...
htere is a post in here, but it points to a broken link.
wasnt able to find it here either.
is that script still around? io want to downgrade from 7.9 patched to raven's 7.6.
As far as i am concerned, i care only about the database data and structure (to be compatible with 7.6). I will do a fresh install of the phpnuke with all aditional blocks and modules.

The downgrade script is not for this. What I would do if I were you is to install my bundle. Then, export your data only from your current site. Empty the tables in your new site that you want to insert that data into. Then use phpMyAdmin to import your data. You may to do some tweaking to get it all to work, but that way you have the phpbb v2.0.18 and nuke v7.6 PATCHED structure.

thx for the reply, you misunderstood me.
I want to go from 7.9 patched to 76.raven, keeping only the users and forums in the database, will do a fresh install for everything else.
I needed the script to be sure that the tables from my 7.9 can go into the fresh install of 7.6 without me having to manually write the data into te tables again.
I saw that the script deals with 7.8 databases, dropping some tables, hopefuly it will work on my 7.9 as well... Smile

backing all up before any actions, of course....

now i am confused.
can i use that script to downgrade thedatabase structre from 7.9 to 7.6 or no?
this is all i want cause i will erase the root dir and bring on the raven distro...
will that work?
raven files only + downgraded 7.9 to 7.6 database?

It won't hurt to try. I'm not sure what phpbb version it downgrades you to. You may have to then run a couple upgrade files from Chatserv.

Back up your DB then use the downgrader.
Check everything works then back up your WHOLE DB again - this is now your *working back-up*.
Then back up that same DB but only the data (not structure). You can then use the DATA only back-up to repopulate your DB once you have installed the Raven76 distro.
