forum access

is there any configuration to turn off the ability of guests to post?

I want guests to have read access only.

Before anyone asks, I have searched for this topic but found nada Bang Head

lol...well have you looked into your forum configuration ?
I think not....
Go to your administration area,then click forums,then you get your forum admin panel...there you find your forum permissions... Smile

dingfelder, just to hike up my "assist" numbers (yes, it is basketball season again, yahoo!!!)...

As hitwalker has mentioned, under the forum permissions, you select your forum and then can either use one of the basic settings, such as "Registered" (which is what you are asking for), or you can click on Advanced and see all the cool features you can configure permissions on. Laughing
