Was running Nuke 7.9. Used downgrade script (a la Bob Marion) and installed 1.05 (as of 11.26.05) and ran into trouble.

1. Fixed poll trouble with voting, installed new code as per sticky.

2. Fixed phpBB crash as per new SQL query (nuke_bbsessions).

3. Still getting blank screen with poll creation.

a. Tried installing fresh copy of 7.6 1.05, didn;t work.
b. Copied just survey module with overwrite, didn't work.
c. Voting works fine, just poll creation error.

Not sure where to go from here. I have been scouring the forums looking for a proper answer. I read through all the stickies before posting, I assure you.

I cannot find where to turn debug on to see if it "turns into a debug page".

So that's my trouble! Thanks for helping out my sixth grade class!!!

Yours,

Chris

I just tested it on a new install of 1.05 and it worked perfectly. When you installed RavenNuke76, did you drop all your tables before running the installsql.php file? you absolutely must start with a virgin database and file site.

No, I downgraded. It's not really feasible for me to totally drop all the tables and restart because I would lose all my info. That would be really not cool.

Any other suggestions? I am sure your stuff works fine, it's mine that's messed up, no quarrels here in that regard. I just need to fix it.

You can transfer the info, that's not a problem. Regardless, have you turned $diskpay_errors on in config.php to see if it shows a db error? You might also try setting $sql_debug = 1; in includes/sql_layer.php. I am movinf this thread as it is not an issue with the distro.
