Hello,

I have been reading for 3 hours now on many forums and I am getting closer to understanding how nuke, mysql and cnbya all work together, the problem is, my users still can not login.

I am self taught, not exactly a newb, but certainly not confident enough to mess with code unless a trusted person guides me.

I have had my site running for at least 2 months, each day though I experiment with new modules and blocks. "Your_Account" was one of these modules, and I suspect it is the "culprit."

My users and I have difficulty logging into the site.

http://caperiptide.com

The first error message was "sorry but this module is inactive" (paraphrased)

So I experimented with activating and deactivating the module-No changes.

Then I logged out (I have been logged in for several weeks around the clock, so I did not notice the adverse affects that some users were experimenting...).

I was unable to login...same errors as users...

So I was able to login through admin.php...

I experimented with "deleting cookies" as Your_Account suggested but still no improvements...

I am now stuck:

1. Users still can not login
2. When logged in as admin, The site still shows a box for me to login or register, usually when logged in as admin, the site "knew" that I was there so it did not show that login box.
3. I realize that this is probably "fixable" but I do not know who to get forum help from, who to pay for their services, where to go from here.

I appreciate any support you may have. I will keep reading in the meanwhile.

Hi,

im not saying this is gonna solve it but as far as i know off cnbya never had this type of problem.

but i noticed you have.. your_account 4.4.0 b2 , but you should use your_account 4.4.0 b2 , try that..
And dont use any of the cookie functions...
And also try to login directly from the your_account module.,and not from the block.

Hitwalker,

Thank you so much for responding.

I believe that you may have made a typo in your response...

"4.4.0 b2" try "4.4.0 b2"

Also, I have the cookies "off"

I will wait to try the sign in until I know what version that you meant..

Thanks again,

jeff
