MyUploads - The file, * , could not be uploaded

Have set MyUploads directory to users.
CHMOD set to 777.
The user directories are being created and CHMOD to 777.

HOWEVER...

When trying to upload anything I recieve this error

Code:

The file, "filename.whatever", could not be uploaded.

Have tried these extentions:
.gif
.jpg
.zip

Ideas/Suggestions would be great.

Note: I have also uploaded a .htaccess file with the following

Code:

php_value upload_max_filesize 40M


php_value post_max_size 40M

Note: Have posted on http://gnaunited.com to no avail.

hi missdanni,any more errors ?
when you turn on display errors of nuke ,or in logfile?
It could be a chmod thing somewhere or even php or php version..

Everything is CHMOD as it should be - The user directories are being created and CHMOD correctly, that part seems fine.

It seems no matter what I try to upload fails.

Edit: Here is what I'm running if it helps.

PHP version 4.4.0
MySQL version 4.0.25-standard

well bad news for you..
i just tried it and it installs flawless and also works perfectly..a recommandable mod...
But that doesnt help i know.
posibility is that your server has some restrictions,safe mode,i dont know...
option would be to provide someone access to check out the whole install...

Where did you get the package that you installed?

Maybe I just have a bad package? I have never had any trouble with nuke mods access.

Also, safe mode is off so that cant be it either.

Regardless could you post a link to the package you are using?

well i used that version on the authors website,the free version and says...newest version...im sure you seen that...

I was misinformed about the safe mode status grrr

It seems it was enabled the whole time.

I have since had them disable it and things are well.
